We have been dying to try this place out since it came on the scene. With a plethora of new restaurants out, this one seemed to be getting a lot of buzz. One of our favorite photogs, Alisha Sims, said it reminded her of her trips to Italy. So eating here was a MUST.
Our Assistant Editor is currently in town, so it was the perfect time to taste Pangea!
We went for a late lunch. We immediately loved the atmosphere. It was modern and rustic and very unexpected to be smack dab on Green River Road. We were greeted at the door and a lovely lady asked us if we planned to stay and eat lunch or just stop by for dessert. We were in it to win it so she showed us both menus. The process for ordering is a bit different than most are used to in our area. You go up and order, they give you a number . Shortly after we ordered we got our Kale and Arugula Salad. It was lightly dressed and paired perfectly with our Margherita pizza. We split both and it was more than enough. After, we grabbed some gelato on the way out. The Lemon Basil was an amazing blend.
The staff was very friendly! If Alesso is around ask to hear him speak. His accent is EVERYTHING!
We LOVE IT! EVV and we hope you do too! Have you tried it out? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
